Vietnam Veteran-Horace Frazier stopped by the Ann Arbor, MI Fisher House to “break in” their Red Guitar. Horace is a big supporter of Fisher House and has played guitar at their Groundbreaking Ceremony in 2019, Dedication Ceremony in 2022, and at a recent holiday event in December 2023. He also shares the gift of music and teaches other Veterans how to play guitar through the Guitar 4 Vets program.

I just wanted to say thanks for providing the Red Taylor guitar to the Minneapolis Fisher House.

I am here for Cancer surgery and was comforted by having a guitar to play, to keep my mind off of what is ahead of me. It also helped my son, to know that his Dad didn't need to smuggle a guitar into his room. It meant a lot to me, keep it up.

Follow up: “I am home from surgery. I had amazingly wonderful news from my surgeon. The "cancer" they were looking for turned out to be scar tissue and not cancerous. What a thing to wake up to. I was overwhelmed by happiness.

The tissue was removed and they tell me I'm going to have a full recovery. “

Patrick Dellinger, an Army Veteran of 30+ years, performed for other Fisher House guests at the Los Angeles Fisher House while visiting his father who is currently in the ICU.

"My Husband and I we just wanna Thank you for your special gift the “Red Guitar.“ This is our very first time that we stayed for two nights at the Fisher House VA New Orleans LA. My Husband is battling with T-Cell Lymphoma cause by Agent Orange for 10years now.  He is a working miracles for this type of Cancer. But this time he had right eye surgery done. so we are so Blessed to have the Fisher House to stay in. So Beautiful, Comfort and Safe.
